From his workshop located at the foot of Roussillon, in the heart of Provence where the craftmanship of stone has always held an important place, Bernard Barra revives a tradition, in clouds of white stone.

After submersing himself in light as a film technician, he felt he was missing the physical touch of mineral matter and returned to his vocational training : stone carving. Along with his working companions, he designs, cuts and patines his creations, combining an ancestral art with some more contemporary variations and secrets.

This has allowed him to become in the last fifteen years a specialist of fountains and fireplaces "à l'ancienne" (aged feel), now acknowledged for his taste and expertise, both in his native Provence and thoughout the world.

A new showroom is now also established in Spain to facilitate his international exchanges.
